The city of Dayton, like many cities across the country, has a large homeless population. We may not be able to fix this problem, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take the book of James approach;

James 2: 15-17

Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Doing nothing was simply not an option for the founders of TRYEFFECT.

Setting out with the lofty original goal of providing 1000 TRYEFFECT hoodies, all with an encouraging word on them. The TRYEFFECT hoodies are also accompanied with a meal, hygiene products, socks, hats, gloves,scarves, and other misc items when we have the donations.

Our lofty goals have gotten bigger the closer we’ve come to hitting the original goal of 1000. We hope to continue well past 1000 and expand in to other major hard hit cities across the country!
